چکیده
Abstract: Introduction: Periplaneta americana (P. americana), commonly known as the American cockroach, has shown multiple clinical benefits. Small Peptides from P. (SPPA) was found to have promising antioxidative effects in vitro. However, pharmacological benefits of SPPA demand further in-depth investigation underlying mechanism for its effect remain unexplored. Objectives: To evaluate on ovarian follicles and antioxidant capacity rats. Materials Methods: In vivo model oxidative stress, i.e., Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats with cyclophosphamide (CP)- induced used SPPA. Results: CP a significant decrease ovary weight ovary/body ratio both high- and/ or low- dose groups This accompanied by down-regulated levels MDA NO elevated SOD GSH-Px serum. Besides, protein mRNA expression were elevated. Rats treated higher showed number Graafian lower atretic Ki67 upregulated caspase-3 Fasl down-regulated. Conversely, group an incessant normal increase follicles, along enhanced BMP4, GDF9 IGF1 mRNAs. Conclusion: study indicates that acts potent might be developed therapeutic agent inhibiting injury. Key words: americana, Oxidative Gene expression, Ovarian follicle, Cyclophosphamide, Rats.

Cyclophosphamide is a chemotherapy drug for the treatment of cancer. Chicken embryo amniotic fluid, vitamin C and coenzyme Q10 have anti-oxidant properties. Total of 70 adult female mice were selected and divided into seven groups. The first group that received 2 ml kg-1 of inactivated amniotic fluid subcutaneously. The second group treated with 75 mg kg-1of cyclophosphami...
